EBK steel pipes in power stations
What matters
Steel pipes in power stations are exposed to extremely high loads. They have to resist high temperature and pressure which requires high mechanical strength and resistance against thermal and mechanical loads. In addition an excellent corrosion resistance is required in order to withstand aggressive conditions as they occur during incineration of fossil fuels. Only by a precise production the steel pipes can ensure a safe and efficient operation because any compromise could lead to enormous downtime and safety risks.
